1984-2024…Those forty years whizzed by like a weekend. Much has changed, but much remains the same: a man is still a man, though some more than others. I’m happy to report that Kristen Bjorn, who photographed this model while living in South America and traveling the world, now lives in Barcelona and is as active as ever. PS: You’ll notice that this New Year’s layout appeared in our February issue. That’s because most magazines, ours included, were on the newsstands, and mailed to subscribers, at least a month earlier than the cover date.
Since that February issue had three model layouts on the New Year’s theme, it would be ungenerous to post only one, especially during the holiday season. Therefore, look for Bonus Number 105 on Monday and Number 106 on Tuesday.
Thanks for the website address for Kristen Bjorn. I've enjoyed his work for many years but didn't know if he was still working. Do you know anything about an illustrator who signed his work Leonard? I found his last name as Johnson once. His work appeared in Advocate Men/Mens magazine in the 80s and a couple of others.
