Benyen san kache lonbrit is a Haitian Creole expression that means literally “to bathe without hiding your belly button.” In other words, to let it all hang out. It’s a snappy little phrase that only half applies to Cueler, the Haitian Hunk. True, he lets it all hang out, and we do see his belly button, but we never see him completely stripped.
Perhaps the photographer believed that sometimes too much of a good thing is superfluous. Would this model be any more mouthwatering if he removed his shirt? Not a chance.
Cueler’s photographer was Usher, a.k.a. Len Tavares. You’ve seen his work under one name or the other a number of times here in Did You Sleep With the Models? For instance, Bruno (Bonus 28 on August 9, 2023); Lorenzo (Bonus 34 on 9/27/28 + Bonus 88, 9/08/24), and Joe Porcelli (Bonus 105, 12/30/24).
Does the new Substack post have to do with Fair Park? This is the Woofus statue. Or is the new post about bits and pieces put together to form something new? Whatever it means, I'll be there on June 6th! Looking forward to it! Tim
