(Did You Sleep With the Models?)

As you know already, during my years as editor-in-chief of Mandate, Honcho, and Playguy I was often asked, “Did you sleep with the models?” Another question I heard almost as frequently was this one: "Where do you find all those hot men?" No single answer fits, of course, but in February 1983 Mandate told the story of how one fetching young man turned up at my door and soon found himself the model he wanted to be. I sent a writer to the photo shoot with this assignment: bring back a detailed story to satisfy our readers.
